getEffectiveLaserSpeed

pyslm.analysis.getEffectiveLaserSpeed(bstyle)

Returns the effective laser speed given a BuildStyle using the point distance and point exposure time. This includes the dwell time between pulse jumpDelay and the BuildStyle.jumpSpeed assigned to each individual BuildStyle.

Parameters:

bstyle (BuildStyle) – The BuildStyle containing a valid point exposure time and point distances

Return type:

float

Returns:

The laser scan speed [mm/s]
